Learn How to Redeem in the RepeatMD Wallet.
Redeeming rewards in the RepeatMD (RMD) Wallet works similarly to package redemptions in Aesthetic Record (AR).
By Unit (1-to-1 redemption when RMD and AR values/units match)
By Value (wallet credit transfer when values differ)
When the price per unit is the same in both RMD and AR, you can redeem 1 RMD unit for 1 AR unit without adjustments. Taxes are also accounted for in this redemption.
Example: If a Hydrafacial is in both RMD and AR at the same value, you can redeem 1 RMD unit for 1 AR unit as an even trade.
If the RMD wallet balance is higher than the AR invoice amount, or if the AR invoice unit does not match the RMD unit, the patient can redeem for value instead. The remaining credit will be banked in their AR Wallet for future use.
Example 1:
RMD Wallet: $1000
AR Invoice: $900
$900 is redeemed, and the remaining $100 is banked in the AR Wallet for future use.
Example 2:
RMD Wallet unit is Hydrafacial $300
AR Unit on Invoice is Microneedling $300
Patient can redeem for value of $300 instead of redeeming the exact unit/service.
This works like a gift card example:
If your gift card covers the full bill, the patient is good to go!
If it’s more than the invoice amount owed, the patient will get leftover credit value banked in their AR wallet for next time.
If it’s less than the invoice amount owed, the patient will still need to pay the difference with a different payment method.
This can help cover taxes, but won’t cover them on the invoice completely. This limitation is because the redemption for value applies at invoice level and not at item level.
