A stable internet connection is essential for smooth video meetings and signing sessions. If your connection is weak or unstable, you may experience delays, video interruptions, or difficulty uploading documents. We recommend:
Using a wired (Ethernet) connection or a strong Wi-Fi signal.
Closing unnecessary applications or browser tabs to improve performance.
Asking meeting participants to check their connection if they experience issues during a meeting.
To use Videosign for video meetings and signing sessions, you'll need to allow permission for your device's camera and microphone. Usually, you will only need to do this once, for your first Videosign meeting.
The guide below will show you how to allow access to your camera and microphone.
Allow Access to Camera and MicrophoneVideo recording has a 60-minute limit per session to keep file sizes manageable for low-bandwidth networks. If a meeting exceeds 60 minutes, a new recording starts automatically in the background, with no disruption to the session.
All document signings are recorded automatically and cannot be disabled.
Webcams must be switched on for digital signing to ensure a complete audit trail. However, you may allow signers to complete signatures without their webcam if required. An audit trail will still be produced, but won't include an image capture of the signee.
