1.7 - How to inactivate Account/Contact

To inactivate an **Account**, open the Account card and Click "Edit Inactive"

Check the box in the "Inactive" field.

Click "Save"

Try to add the Account to a Campaign. Click "Campaigns"

Choose a Campaign

Click "Add Contacts"

Type in the Account name

Add a contact that is related to the Account

Click "Next"

Click "Submit"

Inactive Accounts will generate in an error message stating: "We couldn't add members to your campaign."

To inactivate a **Contact**, on the Account-card, click "Related" and open the contact card.

Choose the Contact you want to edit

Check the box in the "Email Opt Out" field.

And/Or check the the "Do Not Call" field.

Click "Save"

Try to add the contact to a campaign, Click "Add to Campaign"

Choose a Campaign
