2.1 Edit a Bank Account Name and Rearrange Bank Tiles

Start in the Sample company.

To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.
Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm.
Rename the Account
Now let's get started with the exercise:
**Part 1:** As mentioned in the scenario above, Craig has decided to use his existing Savings account to set aside money specifically for taxes. That way, he can be assured that he has the money when they become due. He would like to rename the account "Savings for Taxes" so that he clearly sees what it is for.
How would you do this for him?

From the left navigation bar, hover over Transactions, then click "Bank transactions".
If any pop-ups appear, just click out of them. This is a frequent occurrence in the Sample company!

Click the "Savings" tile.

Click the "pencil icon" in the upper right hand corner of the blue Savings tile.

Click "Edit account info".

Change the account name to "Savings for Taxes".

Click "Save and Close".
Finished! You have now renamed the account.
*Note: You could also have made this change in the Chart of accounts.*
Re-Order the Accounts
**Part 2:** Craig will be using his Mastercard account more frequently than his "Savings for Taxes" account, so he'd like it to appear as the second tile after Checking when he goes into the Banking Center.
How could you make this change for him?

From the left navigation bar, hover over Dashboards, then select "Home"

In the Bank Accounts section, click the "three dots". *These appear when you hover over it.*

If you are having trouble accessing the three dots, refresh you browser window.

Click "Widget settings".

Click the "dots (:::)" next to Mastercard and drag to position directly after Checking.
