Now let's get started with the exercise.
Click the "+New" button, then select "Expense".

    Scenario, Part 3

Scenario: Craig would like to see a report showing his profitability so far for the new High School Lot job, compared to the other Freeman Sporting Goods locations. How would you create this report?
QBO already provides a Profit & Loss report, organized by customer, so we'll start with that.
From the left navigation bar, click "Reports".
In the Business Overview section, click "Profit and Loss by Customer".
The report that is generated will default to "This Year-to-date" which may or may not have data available. To ensure all available data is in the report, change the Report period to "All Dates"
In the Report period dropdown, select "All Dates"
    Click "Run report"
The resulting report currently shows each customer in a separate column. We only want the Freeman Sporting goods location, so we will need to customize it.
    Click "Customize".
To only select some of the information in QBO, we use a Filter. In this case, we only want to see the Freeman Sporting Goods locations.
Click the down arrow next to "Filter" to expand the section.
Click the down arrow in the field next to "Customer", then click the checkbox next to all Freeman Sporting Goods locations (total of 4).
