Create a BigQuery sandbox account

Navigate to [https://console.cloud.google.com/bigquery](https://console.cloud.google.com/bigquery)

Select your existing Google account or select Use another account to create the BigQuery sandbox account under a different user account.

Select your country and then check the box to agree to the terms of service.
Create your first project

Click Select a project in the banner.

Click New Project.

Enter a unique name for your project. Click EDIT to specify the project ID. If you don't enter one, a project ID will be automatically assigned.

Enter a unique name for the Project ID * field.

Click CREATE.

Click DONE.
Congratulations, you created your first BigQuery project!

Confirm in the banner that you are using a sandbox account.
Optional: Beyond the sandbox
The BigQuery sandbox has a limit on the number of projects you can create. If you decide you want to upgrade to the paid service or activate any eligible free trial offers, you can follow the steps below.

If you want to upgrade for access to full features, click the UPGRADE button at the top right. This converts your sandbox account to a billable account.

If you're eligible for a free trial, click the ACTIVATE button at the top right instead. You can upgrade your account later after the trial period ends.

Both options will ask you for credit card and billing information. Click CREATE BILLING ACCOUNT to proceed.
