    4.1 Exclude Bank Feed Transactions

    • 0 step
    Start in the Sample company.
To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.
Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm.
Now let's get started with the exercise. This scenario is a perfect example of when you would need to use Exclude.
From the left navigation bar, hover over Transactions, then select "Bank transactions".
Since only last quarter was affected, let's narrow down the list to just those transactions.
Click "All dates" to open the filter, then in the Date field, click "All dates" to expand the dropdown. Click "Last quarter".
    Click "Apply".
Click the "checkbox" at the top of the column to select all the transactions.
When the black bar appears, click "Exclude".
The transactions have now been removed from the list (and can be found in the "Excluded" tab). You will need to remove the "Last quarter" filter and change it to "All dates" to see the remaining transactions.
Click "Last quarter" to open the filter, then in the Date field, click "Last quarter". From the dropdown menu, click "All dates".
    Click "Apply".
If you wanted to remove these transactions from Excluded, you can easily do so. Click the "Excluded" tab.
Click the top "checkbox" to select all transactions, then click "Undo" when the black bar appears.
A pop-up warning will appear. Since this is what we want to do, you can click "Continue".
These transactions are no longer excluded.
Click "For review (25)" to go back.
Scroll to the bottom and you will see that these transactions are no longer excluded and are with the other transactions needing review.
