You must complete [Exercise 2.11a Create an Estimate](https://scribehow.com/shared/211a_Create_an_Estimate__Y1kM4eKiQfGeiSvQje-mWg) in the same Sample company session prior to completing this exercise.
Now let's get started with the exercise.
Since you will be sending two invoices for one estimate, start by turning on Progress Invoicing.
Click the gear icon, then select "Account and settings".
Click the "Sales" tab.
Click anywhere in the Progress Invoicing section to make it editable, then click the toggle next to "Create multiple partial invoices from a single estimate" (this will turn green to indicate it is turned on).
When the pop-up appears, click "Update".
Click "Save".
Click "Done".
Now, let's create an invoice for Gevelber Photography.
Click the "+New" button, then select "Invoice".
In the Customer field, select "Gevelber Photography".
When the pop-up drawer appears on the right side, click "Add" to add the estimate to the invoice.
When asked how much you want to invoice, click the button next to 50%, then click "Copy to invoice".
*Note that QBO automatically does the calculation for you in the second box on that line.*
Notice that each line of the invoice is now deducted 50%.
Click the down arrow next to Save and send, then select "Save and close".
