    Start in the Sample company.

    To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.

    Now let's get started with the exercise.

    Turning on Classes

    First, turn on the Classes feature.

    Click the gear icon, then select "Account and settings".

    Click the "Advanced" tab.

    Click anywhere in the "Categories" section to make it editable, then click the toggle next to Track classes (it should turn green to indicate it is turned on).

    Click "Save".

    Setting up the Classes

    Next, set up the classes.

    Click the gear icon, then select "All lists".

    Click "Classes".

    In the Name field, type "Residential", then click "Save". *Note: Do not select the checkbox next to "Is sub-class".*
