To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.

Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm. 

Now let's get started with the exercise.

First, set up the Price Rule. You'll need to turn it on first.

Click the gear icon, then select "Account and settings".

Click anywhere in the Products and Services section, then click the toggle next to "Turn on price rules" (this will turn green, indicating it is turned on).

Click the gear icon, then select "All lists".

In the Rule name field, type "Inventory Clearance".

In the Products and services field, select "All inventory".

Notice that after you click the button, the prices are adjusted.

Note, too, the new price of the Sprinkler Heads ($1).

Now it's time to create the Sales Receipt for Video Games by Dan.
