To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.

Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm. 

First we'll need to recreate the problem in the Sample company. To do that, we'll need to turn on Sales Tax.

From the left navigation bar, hover over Taxes, then select "Sales tax".

Use the dropdowns to match the agencies as laid out below.

California → California Department of Tax and Fee Administration.

California Department Of Tax And Fee Administration

AZ State tax → Arizona Department of Revenue.

Tucson City  → Arizona Department of Revenue.

In the Filing frequency field, select "Monthly".

In the Filing frequency field, select "Quarterly".
