To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.

Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm. 

From the left navigation bar, hover over Transactions, then select "Chart of accounts".

On the Savings line, click "View register".

There are two transactions here, one *is not* reconciled and one *is* reconciled (you can tell as it has an "R" in the second to last column).

If you had numerous transactions and only wanted to see unreoncilied transactions, you would use a filter.

Click the Filter icon, then in the Reconcile Status field, select "Not Reconciled".

The one transaction that was not reconciled is the only one to appear.

From here, you could reconcile the Savings account. We will not be doing that as part of this exercise.
