ACRL/IPEDS Electronic Title Report (PALNI Toolkit)

Click "Reports"

Click "Report Launch Pad"

Click "Continue"

Open the 2.1 PAL2 folder

Open the Annual Survey Toolkit folder

Click and drag to expand the Title column

Click "New PALNI Electronic Title Quantities TEMPLATE for ACRL/IPEDS"

Click the "Enter a value manually" field

Type the date of the last month of your fiscal year (YYYY-MM)

Click "(manual entry)" - the date you entered will populate under "Calendar Year Month" on the left

Click "Run" to generate the report

The report has 4 tabs. The default tab is "All Electronic Titles" and includes all formats. To obtain the quantities for reporting, use the other three tabs.

"Electronic Books" - use Total Title Holdings Quantity

"Electronic Media" - use Total Title Holdings Quantity

"Electronic Serials" This tab is provided for reference only or for other local, internal use. ACRL recommends that libraries use their A-Z list quantities to report electronic serials. The accuracy of the Electronic Serials quantities depends upon local practices, primarily whether collections in Collection Manager are set to maintain holdings in WorldCat or not.
