Employees that are eligible for Banked OT can:
- Request Paid Absence (Time Off)
- Request Cash Out (cash out banked OT)
- Cash out payments will be paid out via paycheck on the next regularly scheduled pay date.
Both options are available via the [[Absence]] App
Accessing the Absence App

- On the Workday Homepage, navigate to the [[Absence ]]App
- You can also access your Apps via the [[Menu ]]on the top right of the screen

- The **Available Balance as of Today** window is displayed for reference
- In this example, the worker has six hours of Banked OT available

- On the **Request** window, select [[Request Absence]]

- Select the [[Day(s)]] on the calendar you wish to request off or cash out

- Click [[X Day - Request Absence]]
Requesting Absence (Time Off)

- Under **Type**, select [[Time Offs]]

- For **Type**, select [[Banked OT - Time Off]]

- Click [[Next]]

- The **Quantity Per Day / Total Hours** will default to **8 hours** selected
- To modify hours, click [[Edit Quantity per Day]]

- Modify the [[Quantity per Day]] (if applicable)
- If multiple days are selected, you can use the **Update All Quantities** field to update them in bulk or you can update them individually if they vary
- Enter [[Comment]] (optional)

- Once all modifications are made, click [[Done]]

- Under **Details for: Banked OT - Time Off**, select [[Requesting Time Off]]
