Navigate to [https://library.nwacc.edu/home](https://library.nwacc.edu/home)
Click "Research"
Click "Databases"
Limit by Type of source to see all news databases. Skip this step and select [Access World News](https://library.nwacc.edu/accessworldnews) from the list if you prefer.
Click "News / Newspapers" to filter the available databases down to the ones that specialize in news
Click "Search" to apply the filter
Click "Access World News"
Click "Map Search"
Click on the continent you want. This example will use "Asia"
There will be a list of countries on the right and a map on the left. Use either. In this example, we clicked on "Kazakhstan"
It selected the country from the list. Apply the filter by clicking "4 Sources"
Check to see the dates included. In this example, there is coverage from "1998 - Current"
Check the language the articles will be in. All of these sources will be in "English"
Click the "Enter any keyword, such as a name, event or topic" field to search for a specific topic or event
In this sample, we are searching for "Ukraine"
Click the "Enter a date or date range" field if you want to specify a certain date or date range - This is optional
Click this dropdown to see suggestions of how you can limit by date
In this example, we will type "past 2 months"
Click this button to search
Browse your results and click the one you want to read/use
