Navigate to your "Grading Tasks". This can be done through the "User Icon Menu" located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Click on the name or code of your course/program with the grading tasks you wish to view or grade.

You will be brought to the Assessments page with your grading tasks. Click on the name of the assessment you wish to view or grade.

You will be brought to the "Learners to be Graded" page where you can see a list of your assigned learners. You will be able to enter a learner's grade and view or comment on their file submissions, if applicable.

Click on the grade field to edit the grade. This field will be empty if no grade has been entered yet. Click into the empty grade cell to enter the grade for the first time.

If this grading task is an assignment you will see their file submission(s) after clicking in the "Grade" cell. If a learner has submitted more than one file, then you can switch between the files by clicking on the "Currently Grading" drop down list and selecting a different file.

If a learner's file will not display on the page, you may need to download the file to view it on your device instead of the inline view in Elentra. This can be done by opening the assignment drop box.

To open the drop box navigate to the "Learners to Be Graded" page.  Click "View" under the Drop Box column. Then click "Download" next to the file name you would like to download.

Entering the grade.

The way you enter a grade will depend on how the gradebook assessment is configured. You may need to enter a letter grade, numeric value or complete a rubric form attached from the Assessment & Evaluation module.

- If the gradebook assessment is not an assignment then you will only see a place to enter the grade.
- If the gradebook assessment *is* an assignment then you will see the file submission inline with where you need to enter a grade. If there is no file submitted yet, then you will only see the place to enter the grade.

When you are ready to save your work then click on either "Save and Close or "Save and Go to Next"
