By default, Google Drive is set to open on the **Home** page...

The **Home** page displays your most **recently used** and "**suggested**" files/folders, but can be difficult to find the files and folders you need at the moment...

**My Drive** is better for viewing your files/folders and keeping them organized

In the upper-right corner, click the **gear** icon

Click the **Settings** option

Under the **Start page** section, click the **My Drive** option

Under Workspaces, **remove** the checkmark so the box is **empty**

Under **Uploads**, **check** the box next to **Convert uploads**...

In the upper-left corner, click the **Settings arrow** to return to **My Drive**
**My Drive** is now set as your default Google Drive page.
