Get the tracking ID from your Google Analytics 4 Account

    Navigate to [https://analytics.google.com/](https://analytics.google.com/)
Log in with your OSU Google account. Use your [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and your ONID password.
Click on Admin in the bottom left corner. (Please ignore the purple circle that is the control for this recording program)
    Click on Data Streams
Click on the name of your stream that you created.
Click the "Copy" button next to your measurement ID.
Log into your Drupal 7 website.
In the admin menu, go to Configuration > System > Google Analytics
Click the "Web Property ID \*" field. If your UA tracking ID is there, delete it. A UA tracking ID follow the form "UA-xxxxx-yy". This is the old version of Google Analytics and is no longer collecting data.
Press [[ctrl]] + [[v]] to paste your measurement ID into the site.
Click "Save Configuration" at the bottom of the page.

How to check that your measurement ID is working

Go back to your Google Analytics tab.
Close the "Web stream deails" you had open.
Click "Home" in the left-hand sidebar.
    Click "View realtime"
You will be able to see users in your site. It can take 24 hours for the data show up, so if it's not available right away, just check the next day.
