Add Items to a Price Catalog and Amend Prices (Functions Booking & Visitor Orders)
This guide explains how to manage items and pricing in the Synbiotix system for function bookings and visitor orders. It covers adding items, updating prices, and making bulk changes, helping users keep catalogs accurate with minimal effort.

Navigate to Synbiotix

Enter your username and password and click "Login"

Select POS

Click "Administration"

Click "Price Catalogs"

Select "Functions" from the 'Type' drop down box to set pricing for functions bookings. Select "Visitor Order" to set visitor order pricing

Click "Go" to apply the filter

Click "Items"
Add an Item to a Price Catalog

Click "Add New"

Start typing an item name to search. Click on an item to select it

Enter the markup in pence. The ex. and incl. VAT prices will autogenerate

To make the item free, tick the Free checkbox

Click "Save"
Edit the Price of an Item

Click "Edit"

Amend the price markup. The ex. and incl. VAT prices will update automatically

Click "Save"
Make a Mass Price Change

Click "Mass Price Change"
