    7
From the tabs across the top of the frame, click "Integrations"
    8
and then click "Add New Integration". This will generate a unique Consumer Key and Shared Secret.
    9
We recommend creating and using a new integration for each separate course you teach. For example, if you are teaching two sections of PHY-105, one section of PHY-110, and three sections of PHY-115, you will (eventually) create three integrations... personally, I'd name them something like PHY 105, PHY 110, and PHY 115, but you should choose names you like (in this example, "physics", "geology", and "astronomy" could work well). Type the chosen name in the box (as shown below), and click "Create".
    10
Click "Copy" to copy the Consumer Key.
    11
Back over in your Canvas tab, paste it into the "Consumer Key" field.
    12
Back over in your Flip tab, click "Copy" to copy the Shared Secret.
    13
Switch back over to your Canvas tab, and paste it in the "Shared Secret" field. Click "Add App". Hooray! You're done with this bit!

    Creating a Flip Assignment

    14
To create a Flip assignment, click "+ Assignment", or choose an existing assignment to edit.
    15
Give the assignment a name (I recommend to add FLIP somewhere in the title), add instructions, points, due dates, etc. as per usual.
    16
In the "Submission Type" dropdown menu, choose "External Tool". Then, in the "External Tool Options" bar, click "Find"
    17
In the Configure External Tool pop-up box, scroll down to find Flip. Click "Flip"
