Add a URL Resource

To begin adding resources to your course, click "Edit mode" to enable course editing.

Click "Add an activity or resource" under the Quick Links section or any other section you wish to add the URL link.

Select the "URL" option from the activity chooser.

Provide a name for the resource and paste the link you would like to share in the 'External URL' field. You can use the description field to provide a brief summary of what the link contains, this can be displayed on the main course page by selecting the checkbox.

It is recommended to use the 'Appearance' section to select how the link will open (e.g. in a new window/popup). Click "Save and return to course" once you have made your changes.

Check to see if the new URL resource has been added to the course.
