Everyone asks what my ‘secret’ is, so here it is:
This is everything you need to know to beat the algorithm👇

The algorithm is like the Loch Ness monster 🐉

None of us have seen it 😂, but plenty of us have ideas about what it looks like. 

Here are all of the superstitions I’ve learned about The Algorithm 🔮

1️⃣ It ‘shadow bans’ people by not promoting their content whenever they fall out of favour with the algorithm. (probably me, oops 😂)

2️⃣ It doesn’t like when you post on weekends (sorry…)

3️⃣ It only likes you if you’re consistent (oops again)

4️⃣ Your content will be de-prioritized if you use too many hashtags (okay, seems easy)

5️⃣ It doesn’t like if you use too few hashtags, either (wait, never mind)

6️⃣ It doesn’t like if you send too many connection invites that are ignored (well, guilty as charged 😂) 

7️⃣There are ✨magical ✨ times of the day you should post on because the algorithm likes that (how choosy 😂)

8️⃣ It likes when you turn creator mode on, so you’ll get more reach (sure, Jan)

The truth is:
You don’t need to follow any of these rules. I didn’t. 

Every time I see a new one, I’ve almost certainly not been doing that one right, either 😂 

How I actually got 8M views in 2 months: 🔑

1️⃣ Be authentic
→Create content that speaks to you and who you are. 
→Don’t try to be someone else. 
→And definitely don’t plagiarize content — we can tell.
 
2️⃣ Give 3x more than you take
→If you want people to engage with your content, you need to engage with theirs.
→This is a two-way street. It isn’t just about you.
→Spend 3X more time commenting, messaging, and reacting on other posts than posting your own.

3️⃣ Build relationships to build community.
→I didn’t do any of this on my own.
→Every step of the way, I connected with people who shared my vision and wanted to be a part of what we’re trying to build. 
→Lift while you rise, and rise together.
→There is room at this creator table for all of us. Pull up a seat. I'll
