Add an existing file to a Moodle course

Please ensure you have already uploaded your file previously to the Moodle servers. This can be done by going to your private files or logging into one of the many services available from the file picker. Click "Edit mode".

Locate where you want to add a file, click "Add an activity or resource".

Click the "file" icon from the Moodle menu.

Provide a file name for students and an optional description of the file.

Optionally, enable "Display description on course page" to display the text on the course main page.

Click the "Add file" icon in the "Select files" section.

Locate where the file was stored and select the file you wish to include.

Click "Select this file".

Click "Save and return to course" and ensure the file is displayed correctly.
