      All resources (device users, e.g.: porters) should be added directly through the "Manage Resources" page\ \ Helpdesk users (e.g.: operators, ward requesters) are managed via a separate pathway.       Navigate to Synbiotix

      Enter your username and password and click "Login"

      Select Helpdesk

      Click "Administration"

      Click "Manage Resources"

      Select the required hospital from the drop-down box

      Add a Resource

      Click "Create User"

      Enter the new user details

      Choose the default zone, which is where the resource begins their shift.\ \ For example, a porter may always start their shift from the Porter's Lodge in Zone 1

      Click "Save"

      The new user can now log in using the password **password1$** . This can be changed to something more memorable by logging in to Synbiotix via a web browser. Passwords can't be changed from the Helpdesk app

      Edit a Resource

      Click "edit"

      Make any changes as required

      Please note that resources cannot be deleted. This is to preserve historical data. You will need to archive the resource instead.\ \ To do this, change the "Archived" toggle to "YES"
