Navigate to your website's dashboard.

Click "Posts"

Click the "Add title" field, give your post a relevant title, and hit enter.

If your post will only contain text, enter your text and hit enter to begin a new paragraph. If you would like to add other types of content to the post, click on the "Add Block" icon.

Select the correct block for the type of content you want to add.

Follow along with the steps to add content to the block. In this case, since we clicked the image block, it is walking us through either uploading a new image or selecting an image from the media library of previously uploaded images.

Posts should contain a "featured image". To add one, click on the gear icon near the top right of the page. (If the right side bar is already showing on the screen then you don't need to do this.)

Click "Post". (If the right sidebar is already showing and on the "Post" tab then you do not need to do this.)

Select an image from your media library of previously uploaded images, or click "Upload Files" and upload a new image from your computer.

Typically, posts will belong in a pre-defined category, such as announcements, recipes, listings, etc. To select a category, click on "Categories" as shown below.

Check the box next to the appropriate category.

When your post is ready to be published, click "Publish".

Click "Publish" again.
