First, open the map that you want to add the shapes or lines to.
Click on "Map Settings". Scroll down to "Custom Shapes". Click on the link in the text to open [geojson.io](http://geojson.io).

Draw Your Lines and Shapes in [GeoJSON.io](http://GeoJSON.io)

You will use [GeoJson.io](http://GeoJson.io) to draw the shape, then copy the code back into Proxi. Start by narrowing in on the part of the world where you want t draw your shape. In this example, we are zooming into "Seattle Washington"
To draw a line, click on the line tool (highlighted here) and start drawing your route. Double click on the last point to stop drawing the line.
You can draw shapes in a similar way.
Once you are done drawing your lines and/or shapes, highlight and copy the entire string of code on the right side of the page. Press [[cmd]] + [[c]]

Paste the Code into Proxi and Refresh the Page

Return to Proxi and paste the code into the "custom shapes" input box. Click "save". You may need to refresh the entire webpage to see the lines on your map.
Alert! You may need to refresh the page to see the lines and shapes appear on the map.
If your route or shapes are very detailed, you may exceed the text limits for the "custom shapes" input. First try using a tool like : [https://www.browserling.com/tools/json-minify](https://www.browserling.com/tools/json-minify) to compress the size of the code. Then paste that back into Proxi. If that doesn't work, send us a message at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and we can get it added for you.
