Getting Started

After logging into Wetu, select the 'Itinerary Builder' under Trip solutions on the navigation panel.
This will open up Personal Itineraries, Sample Itineraries, and more, giving you the option to create a new itinerary or edit an existing one.

Accommodation

To add a Boat Accommodation to your itinerary, you will need to be in the Accommodation Step of building your itinerary.
By selecting the blue ‘Accommodation’ button, a new accommodation setup screen will open up. Here you are able to search for the cruise liner that you want to send your clients on.
Notice as you type in the name of the cruise liner, Wetu will predict different properties/accommodations with what you are typing. Select the desired cruise liner/ boat vessel from the list.
Next, you can configure some additional details for this cruise: **Room Details** \ By selecting ‘Room Details’, you can configure the room/cabin type you want your guests to stay in. **Basis** \ Select the required meal basis from the drop-down menu you are including for your guest during their cruise. **Drinks**\ Select from the drop-down menu whether or not drinks will be included in the cruise. **Nights** \ Here you are able to indicate the duration of the cruise ( number of nights ). **Day Grouping**\ Here you are able to group how the days in the planner stage and in the digital output should be displayed ( grouping by destination would be recommended as your guests will be staying on the cruise liner for a prolonged stay).

Adding Stops

With many cruises, the boat will stop at a number of ports for passengers to do day excursions. You are able to add these stops to the boat accommodation. It is recommended that you add the stops for the cruise in the Accommodation Step so that the routing in the map will display correctly on the Digital and Virtual outputs.
Once you have added the stops, you can proceed to add the additional details for each of the stops. **Destination** \ Here you are able to select which destination content, images and descriptions you want to appear on the itinerary you are sending to your clients. **Arrive (Day)**\ This will be the day the boat will arrive at the stop (Day 1, Day 2 etc) **Depart (Day)**\ This will be the day the boat will depart from the stop.

Route Builder

Once you tab over to the Route Builder Step, you will see that points for all the stops have automatically been added to the map. You will need to build the routes between the various stops.
To do this you will need to enter a Start and End location.
With the Start and End location selected, you can build the route by selecting the mode of transport as Boat. **Adding the Boat Mode of Transport**\ From the drop-down list next to Mode, select 'Boat'. This will open the 'Fixed Route List - Boat' browser screen.
The list of routes displayed here are fixed routings for the most popular boat trips in tourist destinations, however, in most cases, you will have to add a Custom Route.
**Note:** Boat (No Route) is a boat trip with no routing and will not display a route on your Virtual Itinerary.
**Adding a Custom Route**\ Adding a Custom Route, you will need to select the ‘Custom Route’ button at the bottom left corner of the screen.
This will open up a Map View screen with the stops of travel you have selected for the boat travel.
