      This example will add the **User Choice Carousel** component to the **Alternate Home** page content type.

      Open the library of available component on the page by **clicking the ellipsis ("...")** in the Components interface.

      Identify and select "**User Choice Carousel**"

      Give the component its required Heading text

      Add new or existing questions to the component using the provided options. In both cases, the **Question content type** will be referenced and displayed by this component. You have the choice to add a new question or pick a question that is already saved in the CMS. In these next steps, we'll add an existing question.

      After selecting "**Add existing questions**" you'll be prompted to search for the existing question. Enter your question or a word within it to start a query.

      Select your question from the list when you find it.

      Select "**Add questions**" to add the existing question to the component.

      Back in the User Choice Carousel component, try to **add a new question** to the system by selecting "**Add new questions**"

      Add a background image to the component by selecting "**Add media**"

      Upload or locate your preferred image. Then click "**Insert selected**" This component will obscure the left-most section of your image, so select an image that has an appropriate composition.

      If your question requires a Call to Action link, add a URL and Link text here.

      Ensure the "**Published**" box is checked.

      Click "**Create questions**" to add the new question content. Note: Questions are independent content types. The same questions can be referenced on the User Choice components on multiple pages on a site.
