Navigate to the community where you would like to post your thread and photo.
    Click "Threads"
    Click "Start New Thread"
Click "Open-ended Discussion" if you are not asking a question.
Click the "Discussion subject" field and enter a title for your discussion thread.
Click here in the large open space to add a description or narrative comments. There are additional options for inserting a hyperlink to an outside website, using the @ symbol to mention a fellow Daughter that is a member of the DOC (similar to "tagging") and using the # for key words to help organize threads.
Click here when you are ready to add your photo.
Click here to open your files or drag and drop your photo into this area. You can also select a photo from any of the sources listed in the left-hand sidebar.
    Click "Upload"
Click this dropdown to change the size of the photo within your post. We recommend medium or large if you do not want the phot to overpower the thread.
Click this text field to add information about the photo. This is helpful as alternate text for members with reduced vision.
Click this text field. As genealogists, we know the value of including the names of those in a picture!
    Click "Insert"
Click "Post" and your photo will appear in the body of your Discussion Thread.
