Agents: Submitting a New Claim and Adding Claim Comments

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for submitting new claims and adding comments, including the NEW CLIP program. Updated 8/24/26

Agrisompo

Navigate to [AgriNet](https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy) and sign in using the Duo push process.

Select the correct crop year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and search for insured by name or policy number.

Submit a New Claim

Click the policy from the left column beneath the insured name to open a claim on.

Click the "Actions" tab.

Scroll down the drop down list and click the "New Claim" option.

Choose the County/Commodities the claim will be opened for. **NOTE:** CLIP is listed under the County/Commodities tab.

Click the **Claim Type** drop-down menu and select the type of claim to open.\ **NOTE:** A **CLIP** claim can be opened simultaneously with a **Normal** claim.

Click the drop down arrow for the Insured Intention and make the appropriate selection from the list.

Key the Damage Date.

Click the dropdown arrow and select the correct Damage Cause.

Key any helpful information for the adjusting staff to contact the insured, or any additional information that is pertinent to the claim. Once all information is verified as correct, click the Create button.

At the bottom right of the screen, a green notification should appear, notifying the user that the claims have been successfully created.

The claims will show under the policy in the policy column. Click on the word claims to expand and see all opened claims.

Click on a claim to expand it and see details.

The claim information expands and all information is visible. All claim comments will display in the Claim History portion.

Adding a Claim Comment

All information about the claim can be seen on this screen. At any time to add a comment to the claim to get information to the adjuster, click "Actions".

Click "Add Comment".

Key the comment in, and then click "Create".

Note the comment has been added and time and date stamped.
