Approving/Rejecting a diary

The employer's supervisor reviews diaries submitted by the contractor and either approves or rejects them.

Go to the Site Diary by selecting it from the main menu

You'll see a list of diaries which the contractor has submitted and are currently awaiting your approval. Click the date of a diary you would like to review.

If the diary has previously been rejected you can view any previously rejected version by selecting it from the "versions" panel. You can also mouse over any approver in the "approvals" panel to see their reasons for rejecting selected version.

If you are in agreement with the contents of latest version of the diary submitted by the contractor, click "approve", otherwise click "reject".

If you are rejecting the diary you must select the sections you are in disagreement with and provide a reason - the contractor will be allowed to submit a revised version and can only edit the sections you have ticked here. Enter the password you log in with and click "confirm" to finalize your approval or rejection.
