When you receive new tags, you'll want to go ahead and pair them up to an asset. When completing this step through the Main Application, you will go down to ADMIN >
      2
When you receive new Devices (Tags), you'll want to pair them up to an asset to start tracking. \ \ When completing this step through the Main Application, you will go down to **ADMIN > Unassigned Devices.**
      3
Here, once they have shipped, you'll see all of your currently unassigned devices. These are devices that have not been paired up with or installed on an asset yet.
      4
Here, you'll want to find the serial number of the asset you're installing or setting up and click {+ Add Asset}.

      "Basic" Tab

      5
Here you will see all the customization options. Asset Name & GPS Serial Number are the only two required fields. The rest of the fields are optional. GPS Serial Number should already be filled out for you.
      6
The rest of the information here is all optional, but we'll go through the additional pieces that you might need. \ \ Here, you can fill in the **Odometer** and **Engine Hours** based on the current reading as you're installing it. \ \ If you have an **Equipment ID** or a **VIN number** that you want to track, you can add it here.\ \ **Descripition** is optional as well, which will give you a comment box to add any additional information about the asset.
      7
You can also select an Image for your Asset as well as the Map Icon Color. See below for an example of where these selections are reflected.

For the **Equipment Type**, you'll pick the parent type that best matches what you're trying to track then the **Equipment Subtype**, which is a custom field that you can use whatever subtype you want.
      10
For Vehicles you can fill out the **Year, Make, Model, License Plate, Fuel Type & Battery Voltage.**
      11
You can also place it in Groups you have already created as well as, depending on your account structure, determine what Parent or Child account it should be a part of. If you have questions about Hierarchy, please reach out to [email protected]

      "Additional" Tab

      15
Down here, you have some more options which may also be helpful for you to track.

      "Documents" Tab

      16
Last we will look at the Documents Tab.
