Assembling the Alternative Mounting Bracket on a Solar Panel

Tools and hardware neeeded: 7/16" wrench or socket Solar panel Solar panel bracket Carriage bolts Washers Lock Washers Square mounts

Lay the solar panel on its front so that the back is facing up

Insert the carriage bolt through the square mount and slide the mount between the solar panel and its frame

Do this on both sides and make them align with each other
5
Drop the solar panel bracket on the back of the panel with the carriage bolts inserted through the slots in the bracket You may need to slightly lift the panel to accommodate the forward bend in the braket

With the bracket fairly centered on the panel, secure it with the washers, lock washers, and nuts
7
You are now finished assembling the solar panel and it is ready for install on the station
