Navigate to Synbiotix

Enter your username and password and click "Login"

Select Production Management

Production Management is called "NCIS" in some systems but the functionality is the same

Click "Administration"

Enter the item name and click "Go" to search
The system will display exact matches to your search when using multiple words. For example, a search for 'Egg Sandwich' will not bring up 'Egg & Cress Sandwich'.
To see all results, use a more generic search, e.g.: 'Egg'

Click "Nutrition"

Items without nutritional information will display an orange exclamation mark on the nutrition button

If you've linked the item to a supplier code, it will automatically appear in the "Name/Code" field.

Select the supplier from the "Dataset" drop down box.
You don't have to choose the supplier, but it can help refine the results if you are searching for a generic term

Click "Go" to search

You will see a list of items that match your search terms.
Check the item name, code and dataset (supplier) and click "Assign"

The window will close and the orange exclamation mark will disappear from the "Nutrition" button. This means that the nutritional information has been mapped from the supplier database
Click "Nutrition" to view this information
