Assign an activity to a grouping

Select the desired activity from the Course page quick links or modules.

Click "Settings".

Click "Common module settings".

Edit the "Group mode" setting to be set as 'Visible groups'.

Select the desired grouping you wish to assign from the 'Grouping' setting.

Click "Add group/grouping access restriction".

Click "Save and return to course to confirm changes.

At the Moodle course home page, check if the change was successful.
