Click on the arrow next to Assignor Workflow in the menu to make it expand

Click on Assigning Workspace to go to the Settings page.

Select the Schedules you want to assign in by shuttling them from the left side to the right side. You can double-click an item to move it over from one side to the other.  See the example below.

Double-clicking the item will move it from the left side (not displayed) to the right side (displayed).

After you select the schedules you want, select the roles you want to see and/or assign. If you do not have permission to assign a particular position (e.g. Referee) you can still have visibility of it by including it in the roles you select.

Use the Shift, Ctrl (PC), or Command (Mac) key to select multiple items.  

Click the &gt; icon to shuttle them over to the right side to display these roles in the Assigning Workspace.

You have options to show **Distance** of an official from their home to the match site (or between sites for **Same Day Assignments**, abbreviated as **Distance SDA**) in Miles, Kilometers, or Drive Time. Your selection will show in green.

Next, select the Columns you want to display for your matches. If you are assigning across multiple schedules, it will help to display the **Schedule** name next to each match. Double-click the item to shuttle it from the left to the right side.

Other common selections are **Location** (also known as the Site of the match), **Week #**, **Match Ready** (Yes = all positions are accepted; No = some positions are not in accepted status -- they may still be open, tentative, or assigned), **Date**, and **Time**.  You can combine Date & Time into one variable if you prefer.

Select your pool or pools of officials.  You will be able to switch between pools in the Assigning Workspace to only display one of these pools if the others are not relevant for what you are assigning in the moment.

If these games do not involve a Request from you that the officials are responding to, turn off this toggle by moving it to the right, which turns it off.  If you leave it on and did not make a Request, it will have no impact in the Assigning Workspace.

Click the green *Apply Settings* button at the top of the page to run all the Assigning Rules (Global and at the Schedule level).

If you need more visibility, collapse the menu on the left by clicking the X as seen below.

If a cell is in Blue, you have permission to assign it. If it is in White, you can view the contents of the cell, but cannot edit the cell (i.e., you cannot assign this position on this game).

To filter different variables such as Home Team, Location, etc. and show a subset of games, click on the column name.

You can use the search bar to find a specific item or scroll through a list and select the item.

If you need to see multiple items under that variable (e.g. you want to display two Home Teams), use the Actions/Filter button and the ***in*** operator, which behaves the same way as an ***or*** operator.  Other operators are also available to help you display various combinations.

In this example, we will focus on the "Northern Virginia FC" Home matches.  Click the item.

**VERY IMPORTANT:** To run the assigning rules against a specific match (to see availability, distance, assigning rule violations, etc.), first click the cell you want to assign.

Availability, distance, and assigning rule violations will populate next to the names.  To see more items, click the Actions button.

Double-click on the items you want displayed or select multiple items and shuttle them to the right side.

You can adjust the order of the columns by selecting the item and moving it up or down in the list.
