      This guide shows how to monitor the status of BTEngine, and how to start BTEngine if it is not automatically started.

      Click on Modules, and select Module Status in the drop down menu.

      On main servers, BTEngine should be automatically started.

      However, if any components of the BTEngine is shown as not connected, or if you want to start BTEngine on a backup server, click on the Start BTEngine button, or double click on the modules themselves.

      There cannot be two instances of BTEngine on the same network. If openning on the backup server, BTEngine must be closed on the main server. Failure to do so will cause data to be lost intermittently.

      A message box will then pop up with information on the status of BTEngine.

      The BTEngine icons will also show up in the taskbar.

      A: Tracking Adapter (Will only appear when outputing RTTRPM to a media server) T: Tracker (The link between Motive and BlackTrax) F: Follower (The output for RTTRPL) M: Monitor (Manages the connections between BlackTrax applications)

      Select "Apply Changes" in the bottom right corner

      The Messages log will pop up. Select "OK".

      The Messages log will pop up every time you select "Apply Changes". If you'd like to disable this, you can select "Only Appear For Errors and Warnings".

      The red "Blind" status now changes to a blue "Live" status.

      Blacktrax will automatically switch to "Blind" mode whenever changes are made. Make sure to select "Apply Changes" in order to see your changes live.
