Backup/Export Contacts, and Calendar items with Outlook using a .pst file

**"Open"** Outlook App.\ \ \*Note - The process for Exporting Contact, and Calendar items is the same. This guide covers Calendar items, but the steps also apply to Contacts items.

To begin the **Export**, click "**File**", in the top left.

1. Click > "**Open & Export",** then 2. Click > "**Import/Export**"

In the Export wizard,\ choose '**Export to a file**' and click **"Next."**

Select "**Outlook Data File (.pst)**," and click **"Next."**

Select **'Calendar (This computer only)'** and click "**Next.**"

Click "**Browse**..."

1. Choose '**Downloads**' folder as the saving location. 2. Enter a '**File name.'** 3. Click **"OK."**

Click **"Finish."**

- Click **"OK"** to complete the export (do not close outlook immediately). The file will be saved in (%USERPROFILE%\\Downloads) location. - Repeat steps 2 to 10 for exporting Contact items, if needed.
