Backup a Course

Open the course to be backed up and click "More".

In the "More" dropdown, click "Course reuse".

In the top left dropdown menu, select "Backup".

On the initial settings page, select all the available checkboxes, then click Next.

Select all available activities and click "Next". It is recommended to keep as much content in the backup as possible in case it is important. Less content can be selected when restoring.

On the Confirmation and review page, enter an appropriate Filename, and click Perform backup.

The restoration will begin and a loading bar will appear. This can take substantial time depending on the amount of content. This page can be closed, an email will be sent to your mailbox once the backup is completed. Backup files will be stored in the course's "Restore" page and can be downloaded from there.
