Select which page type you would like to add first.
For content pages, add a title and any content you wish to display to students in the "Page contents" field. You can also use the checkboxes underneath to customise how the page will be displayed.
All pages/slides in the Moodle Lesson contain buttons to allow the student to navigate through the activity. The "Content 1, 2, 3, 4" sections determine what pages will be linked via these buttons. The first button is mandatory to allow students to progress. The "Description" field is used to provide a title for the button.
The "Jump" dropdown is used to define where the button will link to. If you want the button to take students to the next consecutive slide in the lesson, select the "Next page" option.
To provide students multiple buttons for slides to jump to, follow the same process for the additional content sections below. Click "Save page" once you have finished editing.
You will now be taken to the main Lesson editing screen. From here you can edit, duplicate, preview and delete each page added to the activity. The "Actions" dropdown is used to add a new page after the current one in the row.
For question pages, select which question type you would like from the dropdown and click "Add a question page" once the selection has been made.
For the "Multichoice" question type, first provide a title for the page and write the question in the "Page contents" field. Note: if the question has multiple correct answers, ensure to check the "Multiple-answer" checkbox.
Once the question has been written, the answer options can be provided. Under the "Answer 1" section, provide an answer to the question in the "Answer" field.
Provide any feedback to the answer in the "Response" field. The "Score" section can be adjusted accordingly to determine if the answer is marked as correct or incorrect. Adjust the "Jump" dropdown based on the answer provided (e.g. if the answer is correct, you may want the student to progress to the next page, if incorrect, you may want them to return to the previous content page).
Provide another answer option under the "Answer 2" section.
Optionally, provide one or two more responses under "Answer 3" and "Answer 4". Click "Save page" once you have finished editing.
You will be returned to the main Lesson editing menu. Continue to add pages via the dropdown as required.
