Bulk Delete Media Content Items from the Media Library

Access the **'Media Library'** via the Content Section of the Main Menu.

Navigate to a Media Library folder and click on the folder name to load the Media Content Items contained within it.

You can click on the **'Last modified'** column to order the Media Content Items by date. They can either be ascending order (oldest to newest) or descending order (newest to oldest).

Within each Media Library folder, select the checkbox beside each Media Content Item you want to delete

Click on the **'Bulk Actions'** menu and then the **'Delete'** option.

To confirm deletion, a modal dialogue box will load, click on the **'Delete'** option.

Or, if you want to bulk delete all files in view, select the first checkbox in the checkbox column. This selects all files on display.

Click on the **'Bulk Actions'** menu and select the **'Delete'** option.

To confirm deletion, a modal dialogue box will load, click on the **'Delete'** option.

The status of the Media Content Items will update to **'Inactive'**.

Inactive Media Content Items are purged every Friday afternoon as part of a system process.
