Tip! If you plan on tweaking your course after the course has closed, create a Sandbox and import your course into the Sandbox. That way you can go ahead and set due date for the following school year, publish/unpublish items, remove items from your course, etc. After courses close, you can't make those types of edits within the course.
    Navigate to your Canvas instance.
    Click "Start a New Course"
Select your school from the list or Manually Created Courses.
    Name the sandbox.
    Click "Create"
    Click "Home"
    Click "Import Existing Content"
Click this dropdown and select Copy a Canvas Course.
Type in the course you're looking for, and make sure "Include completed courses" is checked.
Click the course you want to copy.
    Click the "All content" field.
Click the "Adjust events and due dates" field.
    Click the "Remove dates" field.
    Click Import.
