Instructure

Navigate to the assignment you want to grade.

Click "SpeedGraderâ„¢" on the right side of the screen

Use the drop down box at the top to navigate between student submissions.

The names with checkmarks have been graded. Names with orange dots have submitted, but you haven't graded them yet. Greyed out names have not submitted.

On your iPad, you can use this icon to highlight on their submission. Use your Apple Pen for this!

Click here to create a text box

Click anywhere on the submission to insert the text box and type a comment.

Click here to mark through something on their submission--perfect for essays. Have students submit essays as PDFs so you can easily mark them up.

If you've included a rubric on the assignment, click "View Rubric" to begin grading using the rubric.

Click the rating the student earned

Click "Save." If you set your rubric to apply the grade based on the rubric points, your grade will automatically populate.

Click the "Add a Comment" field to include additional comments to their grade. .

Click "Submit"
