Canvas - Exporting and Importing a Test from ExamView
There are 2 steps for importing an ExamView test into Canvas.

Step 1: Exporting the ExamView Test

Open the ExamView test.

Click "File", "Export", and then "Blackboard 7.1-9.0..."

Give the export file the same name as the test. Then, save it to a location you can easily find later. Click "Save."

In the Test Information window, fill in the test name for the "Name:" and also fill the test name for the "Directory Name." Click OK.

The export will now run and save.
Step 2 - Import the file into Canvas

Open your Canvas course and then click " Import Existing Content"

Choose "Blackboard 6/7/8/9 Ultra export .zip file" from the Content Type dropdown.

Click "Choose File"

Type " [[enter]]"

Locate the export file you created in Step 1. Select it and then click "Open."

Choose "Create new question bank" in the "Default Question bank" dropdown.

Give the new question bank the same name as the test.

Click "Import"

The Import process will run and will eventually appear as "Completed."

To find the imported test, click on the Quizzes link.

The imported test will show up in the list of quizzes.
