    Open the Fort Cherry App.
Click the menu (3 lines on the top right).
    Click settings (person with gear).
    Click "Notifications."
There a variety of types of notifications the app generates: Announcements, which are generated by the system administrators; Event Alerts - Daily, which are sent daily at 8 AM for any events on the calendars of the building(s) to which you subscribe; Event Alerts - Weekly, which are sent weekly at 5 PM on Sundays for any events scheduled on the calendars of the building(s) to which you subscribe; (School) news, which are sent when new news items are posted for the building(s) to which you subscribe. ADDITIONALLY, you will need to enroll in any notifications for your child's courses, which will be listed. You will see the course name and section number. This corresponds to information on your child's schedule in Sapphire.
If the slider is toggled to the right, push notifications are enabled. To disable, toggle the slider to the left. You can also customize which notifications you will receive. The "X" will remove the category from your newsfeed entirely. The eyeball will allow you to view the category on your newsfeed, but you will not receive a push notification. The bell allows you to receive notifications, and the items will show on your newsfeed.
When done, click the back arrow.
