Clearing Trash in Google Workspace or Gmail

Gmail

Navigate to [https://gmail.com](https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/#inbox) and log in with your email address and usual password.

Click 'Trash' in the left hand menu if you wish to view or clear out your Trash folder. Remember, anything deleted will first go here and be automatically cleared after 30 days. To immediately clear email space you will need to clear your Trash folder.

Click "Empty Trash now" to select everything within the Trash folder at once.

Click "OK" to complete this change.

This stage may take a while if you have more than a few hundred emails to clear. You can navigate to a new browser window and leave this one open and processing the deletion.
