From the Task view, you can ✔️complete your tasks by checking the button in the top of the task "Mark task complete".
From a Project

From the Project view, you can ✔️complete your tasks by checking the icon to "Mark task complete".
Subtasks

💡Same applies for Subtasks, they work the same way as tasks to "Mark task complete".
