Configure CloudMonitor Teams Bot

Please follow steps mentioned in this guide to configure CloudMonitor FinOps Teams bot.

Navigate to[Azure Active Directory > App Registrations](https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMenuBlade/~/RegisteredApps), and click your CloudMonitor Service Principal by name or ClientId under the "All applications" tab.

On the side menu, under Manage, click **"API permissions"** and then click **"Add a permission"**.

Click Microsoft Graph

Click "Your application needs to access the API as the signed-in user."

Click the "Search box" field. and search for,
1. [[User.Read]]
2. [[Channel.ReadBasic.All]]
3. [[Team.ReadBasic.All]]
And tick them

Click "Add permissions"

Permission assignments should be visible here.

There are few other permissions also required, please click on this button

Click Microsoft Graph

Click "Application Permissions"

Click the "Search box" field. and search for each below and tick them,
1. **[[Team.ReadBasic.All]]**
2. **[[TeamsActivity.Send]]**
3. **[[Chat.ReadBasic.All]]**
4. **[[User.Read.All]]**
5. **[[Channel.ReadBasic.All]]**
6. **[[AppCatalog.Read.All]]**
7. **[[TeamsAppInstallation.ReadForUser.All]]**
8. **[[TeamsAppInstallation.ReadWriteForUser.All]]**

Click "Add permissions" after selecting all the permissions

Permission assignments should be visible here.

Click "Grant admin consent for ...". This action requires a user with Admin rights.
Next step is to download the CloudMonitor Teams bot manifest file

Navigate to Admin App and authenticate with your account

Click on the profile button then Click "Account"

Click "Teams Bot"

Click "Download CloudMonitor Bot", then manifest file will be downloaded to your personal computer
