Confirming Your Instructor’s Exam Referral

There are two ways to confirm that your instructor referred you to the Exam Accommodation Center.

*\*Not all students with accommodations need to test in the EAC. Option 1: You will receive an email that your professor has created your exam for the Exam Accommodations Center, meaning they have referred your exam to the EAC. You can search your email to see if your instructor referred you to us!

Option 2: Check in your Canvas Exam Accommodations Center page. First, navigate to your Canvas account to register for your exam.

Click the course that you are registering to take an exam for.

In the "My Exams" section, you’ll find a list of exams referred to our center by your instructors. 

**If an exam is missing**, it may mean the following:

- Your instructor has opted for regular testing centers (for accommodations like low distraction or extended time on a Canvas exam)
- Did not create a referral for our center
- Forgot to include you in the referral

*If you don’t see your referral, contact your instructor. If you’re having trouble getting the exam referred correctly, reach out to the EAC for assistance.*

Confirming your EAC Appointment and Accommodations

It's essential for each student to double-check that their EAC exam is scheduled correctly. After receiving a referral, it’s the student’s responsibility to schedule properly. Continue for steps to review your appointments.

After you schedule your exam, a registration acknowledgment page will let you see that you have successfully registered to take your exam and what accommodations you are using. Confirm that all details are correct.

If anything is wrong or an accommodation you wanted to select is missing, reschedule your appointment.

You can revisit the Exam Accommodations Center link in Canvas anytime to review your upcoming appointments. Be sure to double-check that everything is set correctly before exam day.
