    You can add a connection between your Microsoft account and Confirmed from several places within Confirmed: - In the Quick Start wizard when you first set up your Confirmed account - From the [Integrations Setting page](https://www.confirmedapp.com/user/emailOptions) (in Advanced Options) - From the [Custom Meeting](https://www.confirmedapp.com/scheduler/create) page To also install the Confirmed Outlook Add-in (placing more functionality right into your Outlook), [install Confirmed-in-Outlook](https://scribehow.com/shared/Installing_Confirmed_as_a_button_in_Microsoft_Outlook__oIIKUBKeQc66-NPnskvN4g) after you have completed the connection shown below.

    Enter what you want to call your connection in the "Enter calendar name" field. As soon as you start to type, buttons will appear to bring you to the next step. Click "Sign in with Microsoft"

    Pick the account you want to select, which allows you to sign into your Microsoft account.

    Alert! You will need to ***allow all permissions*** from your Microsoft account for the connection to work properly.

    You Microsoft Account will show up in blue bar in the dialog box. Click "Close" (If you don't see the blue bar, after you click close, click the \[connect/disconnect account\] button to re-open and refresh the dialog box, after which it will show up. Click "Close" again.)

    ***Congratulations!*** *Your Confirmed account and your Microsoft/Outlook account now work together.* - The times of your **"busy"** and **"out-of-office"** events on your Outlook calendar will be reserved while offering times to your meeting partners. - Meetings confirmed with your Confirmed account will be added automatically to your main calendar in this Outlook account. - When you're customizing links for people in your main Outlook contact list, typing a few letters will allow you to select them with a click.

    Alert! For some corporate accounts, going through the login to your Microsoft account might require you to ask for permission from your IT department. In most cases, this means waiting to complete the connection until after IT gives you permission. Feel free to tell you IT department that Confirmed does not expose your information to the other party (except free/busy within the periods you designate) and that Confirmed uses best practices for security.
